11/09 BVI Flotilla Best Ever

Published by at 5:28 pm under SailTime

SailTime held it’s 5th Annual BVI Flotilla from November 5-12 in the British Virgin Islands. It was surely one of the best ever with 8 boats from the USA and 3 boats from the UK. Three of the boats were packed with Members from our Channel Islands Base who all sailed together on what I call our “favorites” route.

The wind was fine every day which was a first and provided exciting sails each day to the best snorkeling spots and beach bars. Look for a full trip report soon! Here we see Team McKinney, Pruitt and Tucker gathered on the beach at Cooper Island on our last night.

This was an awesome 9 days on the water. I am a bit bummed at having to return to LA tonight.
