Annual Members Appreciation Party
We held our Annual Members Appreciation Party last night at the Anacapa Yacht Club. Nearly 100% of the Members and their families attended and a good time was had by all. It began with a BBQ buffet provided by Bobby’s Catering. Of special note was the brisket which was spectacular. We then held our first ever Members Film Festival which included local sailing adventures featuring a cast of thousands of dolphins and several whales, plus glimpses at our flotillas that we ran in 2009 to the Abacos and the BVI.
For the fifth time, we named the Member of the Year, during the party. This year we awarded it to Larry and Karla Pruitt who have decorated “Bodacious” for the past two holiday Parade of Lights. They took home a first place trophy this past year! So you know we are talking about a winning effort!
