Big Wednesday for California Surfers

Today will surely go down in the history of California surfing. A huge swell arrived as an outgoing tide met the morning sunlight. There was virtually no wind. The sea was glass. And those who had the skills took some very memorable rides.Wednesday December 5th, 2007 Ventura CA
This Big Daddy swell arriving on the shore in Ventura is the precursor to a powerful weather system that is going to bring the first real soaker rain to Southern California in a year. It looks like it should be all finished for our Ventura Clinic offered to SailTime members though. Thanks to Colin Tucker for the photo.
