The SailTime sailing experience is second to none. In the pursuit of the sailing lifestyle it has many pros to traditional ownership. Unlike owning a boat, where it is said, “the first day and the last day of ownership are the best days”. It’s all those days in between that are the ones SailTime Members remember forever. The SailTime sailing experience does not include the stress of loan payments, taxes, insurance, moorage and the endless parade of maintenance tasks. Instead, Members just go sailing for one low flat rate membership fee as little or as much as they like each month. This provides all the benefits of ownership without any of the hassles.
Sailing clubs became popular when fiberglass production allowed sailboat manufacturing costs to drop dramatically. These clubs were the first affordable way for anybody to get involved in sailing without ownership. But there were and are many downsides to the pay-per-use model of traditional sailing clubs / charter outfits. Our company pioneered the evolution of flat rate sailing nearly a decade ago… before it was cool to seek out experiences instead of consuming them. Now, this experience versus consumption paradigm shift is in full swing and we invite you to ride the wave with us at SailTime!
