SailTime Channel Islands Sailing Newsletter - July 2009

Ahoy!

June proved to be a mix of light and moderate wind that was somewhat plagued by the marine layer the area is well known for in the month. Still, some great sailing was had and whale spottings were logged. A few of us were lucky to get out of town for 10 days of sailing in the Sea of Abaco on our 3rd Annual Captain's Cruise Flotilla. July is perhaps our busiest month of the year with Members taking advantage of Summer holiday time and the annual Ventura County Boat Show. If you haven't been a part of the Full Moon Frolic, come join in the fun on July 11th. The anticipated software upgrades to our system continue to be delayed by the e-gremlins that so often play havoc on deadlines, but it is all coming soon.
