6/21 - Annual Summer SailStice Open House - Fun, frolic and merriment to celebrate the SailStice. Beginning with a 2 hour sail for prospective members and current members at noon. Followed by a dock party BBQ with the famous Red Hots from 2pm on. Let us know if you are coming.

7/10-13 Ventura County Boat Show - This year we will be showing 1421 ! As always, we are looking for members who would like to talk to prospects about your experience with SailTime for a couple hours Fri, Sat and Sun. Here's the deal. We give you and your family free tickets to the show if you will do a 2-hour shift. It's a whole lot of fun. Let me know if you can help out.

8/9-10 - Join the Summer Flotilla - To Santa Cruz August 9 & 10. If you would like to participate, Rainbow is looking for crew. Varekai has not been booked. It appears Bodacious and 1421 are full. Sancerre will be the mother ship. Destination will be Yellow Banks.

11/8-15 - BVI N2C - Are you planning to graduate this fall? SailTime corporate has taken over the N2C program beginning with their first trip coming Nov 10-17, 2008. Being from the Left Coast, we are also planning a trip we are calling "BVI side b" awarding "non-sanctioned" Captain Emeritus to our graduating captains. We sail from November 8-15 and even though this will not be the N2C we have run for the past 4 years, it will have a slice of N2C for those of you who want to graduate on this trip as well and a new exicting itinerary. For travel planning, you need to arrive on Nov 7th and can depart in the afternoon of the 16th if time is tight. If you want, compare both trips. See what Corporate offers and compare what we do. Then choose! We have space for 6 boats max and preferably 5. 2 spots already taken. So that leaves 3-4 more boats. Get members to crew or bring a bunch of friends. Contact Chris for more information

May-June 2009 - 10 day Captains Cruise to the Sea of Abaco in the Bahamas - more info to follow. Only 2-3 boat spaces available. Get your crew together !

Ahoy!
May had some "sporty" sessions in her around here. That's for sure. Charters and lessons have been steady but if you or your family is ready to continue with the education, I'm sure I can slide it in. In fact, if you plan to go to the BVI this November, you've got to get your 104 completed. So lets get it penciled in and start planning. I'm also itching to get someone the school's first 106 sticker. Know that I am always available for further levels of skill and confidence.

Are you joining in on the August Flotilla out to Santa Cruz ? That's a great experience and even better when doing it as a flotilla. I'm sure there will be some great photos and stories to accompany them. Find a boat and join in !

Clinic season is over. But look forward to October when we will fire them up again. IF you have an idea for a clinic you think would be beneficial to others, drop me a line.
